Booth’s Breakfast: Broccoli and cheddar quiche

The blessed child is having a sleepover tonight, so I am still awake well past my preferred bedtime. I am putting out little valentine gift bags for them to find in the morning with fun make-up, fuzzy socks and candy.

Tomorrow morning I have to get up and deliver meals I made this afternoon to the soup kitchen. I may not be home when people wake up and want to eat. I decided to go ahead and make a quiche tonight, so breakfast will be ready for them regardless. Quiche is a favorite for both breakfast and dinner around here and broccoli/cheddar is always a hit. If they haven’t eaten it already when I get home I’ll heat up some chicken breakfast sausage to serve with it.

I use pre made rolled pie crust dough for quiche rather than making it from scratch to save time, but it also makes the process much less messy. I do par bake the crust before I fill it. Nobody wants a soggy bottom.
